Her debut novel, Sun Shining on the Porch Swing, grew out of that conviction—a story that captures the quiet ways God shows up when we’re not sure He will.
Off the page, Valerie is a wife and a mom to three college-aged boys. She enjoys needlepointing, golf, Mahjong nights with friends, and spending time near any body of water, where she truly feels the presence of God. Valerie and her husband live in St. Louis, Missouri.
