Author Bio:

With degrees in Zoology and D.D.S. (go Buckeyes!), this is the author’s debut into the publishing world. An avid reader, she always knew there were books hiding away in her soul—she just needed to get to the empty nest locale to find them. Her love of romance and history (with a whisper of inspirational faith) became the framework of The Bahraini Pearls. She is a member of the American Christian Fiction Writers, Romance Writers of America, and Writer’s Digest.

Denise, or Dee as she prefers to be called, has two grown sons who spare her no lack of entertainment with their antics. Her secret guilty pleasure is Dance Moms and as such, her family has been quite familiar with her "pyramid rating." Currently, at the top of the pyramid is her rescue dog, Clementine, the "Maddie" or "Kalani" of the family. Clem enjoys biking, hiking, Agility, and most of all, kayaking with her mom. Oh, Clem is also very involved in the writing process, particularly the rough draft and snack break stages...
