Texie Susan Gregory holds a master’s in Counseling from Appalachian State Univ. and a master’s in Religious Education from Golden Gate Baptist Theological Seminary. She has worked as a hospital chaplain and has been a ministry wife for over 31 years. She and her husband have two adult children.
A breast cancer survivor, her journey through treatment and chemotherapy was documented by news anchor, Edie Lambert of KCRA-TV Sacramento. ‘Susan’s Story; A Message of Hope’, the acclaimed video journal of her battle, received a regional Emmy in 2004, and encouraged her to follow her dream of becoming a novelist. A second documentary by KVIE, ‘Breast Cancer; Strength and Courage’ also won a regional Emmy.
