Since about 1980 Deb Brammer has been writing for Christian publication and serving as a missionary in Taiwan and New Zealand. As a result, many of her books are related to missions.She has published four novels for kids and teens, and two for adults.

She currently lives with her husband in Invercargill, New Zealand, home to the southernmost Starbucks in the world.
