Book Takeaway:

There's several messages. First is that we are short-sighted, and though our desires may seem to dictate one course of action, God sees the big picture. I also wanted to convey that the detour from God's plan often begins with something small. Something that seems insignificant, but for some reason doesn't sit quite right -- that little warning in the back of our mind. Last, my message is to young men and young women. Girls, he can not be that Knight in Shining Armor, and it's not his fault. Guys, don't think you can. You'll fail, and you may even get in the way.

Why the author wrote this book:

I wrote this book because I wanted to tell an inspirational story about getting up after you fall -- that even Christians can stumble, but it's never to late to call on the Lord.
