It is my hope that Camp Hope will remind readers that there is always, always hope in healing with God. He can perform miracles even when we can't see a way.

Why the author wrote this book:

We were foster parents for several years. I had a nightmare that one of our foster children was kidnapped and when I woke it sparked the idea for this book. Though we are no longer foster parents (having adopted our two foster children now), I am still passionate about the issue.
