RETURN TO BELLA TERRA (The Italian Chronicles-Book 3)

By MaryAnn Diorio

A mother, her son , and the man who threatens to come between them . . .

When she receives word that her mother is terminally ill, Maria Landro Tonetta travels to her Sicilian homeland with her son Nico. She finds herself yearning for the life she once knew as a child on Bella Terra, the family farm, now on the verge of bankruptcy.

Caught between two worlds, Maria dreams of moving back to Sicily with her husband and children to save the farm.

When, however, Nico’s biological father unexpectedly appears at Mama’s funeral, Maria faces a new enemy to her dream.

But is there an even greater enemy within her own soul?

Book Takeaway:

“Anyone who wants to be my disciple must follow me.”

~ John 12: 26 NLT

Why the author wrote this book:

This book completes my trilogy titled THE ITALIAN CHRONICLES. I wrote it--and the other two novels of the trilogy--in honor of my grandparents who were Italian immigrants, and in honor of all immigrants who left their homeland to provide a better life for their descendants.

"Maria deals with feelings of separation, loneliness, jealousy and fear. It wasn't until she surrendered her will to her loving her loving Heavenly Father that you found real freedom, joy and peace."
