The Lost GenerationBy Erica Marie HoganDescription:
Three couples. Three countries. One War... Book Takeaway:The most important takeaway from this book is that in faith, we can overcome. That you can rise above adversity and pain, no matter how harshly your faith is tested. War is a horrible thing to experience, but living after can be just as hard. We are given the strength to move forward in faith and trust that we're never alone. God is always with us. Why the author wrote this book:I wrote this book because I wanted to create a story about strength, faith, sacrifice, and healing. I hope that this book offers all of that to readers. The most important reason I wrote this, was to keep the memory of the men, women, and children who were lost during World War One alive. My father's passion for this piece of history inspired me to write a story that not only showed what the soldiers went through, but gave a glimpse into the lives of the wives and mothers left behind. My desire is to write inspirational stories about overcoming tragedy and I hope this is the first of many. |
