Why the author wrote this book:

The hero, Tate Walker, appeared in two previous books (Smokescreen and Compromised Identity). Readers kept asking for his story and I was intrigued by his past, so I decided to explore. I wanted to find out what happens to a man who has literally lost everything and uses his anonymity to aid his former teammates.
