Trapped! The Adulterous Woman

By Golden Keyes Parsons

Description:

The trap has been set ... by her own foolish heart.

A stranger approaches Anna’s house in the oppressive heat of the late afternoon before Sabbath. Shielding her eyes against the penetrating rays of the sun, she recognizes the familiar gait and realizes he is no stranger. Her hand begins to tremble as in a brief moment of panic she fleetingly entertains thoughts of picking up her baby and running. But there is no place to run.

Book Takeaway:

The offer of forgiveness from the Savior is extended to all who will accept it.

Why the author wrote this book:

I was teaching a Bible study on the adulterous woman and became intrigued by the fact that the Scripture did not even give her a name. Then I began to think of other women in Scripture who had not been named, but their stories are eternally important. Thus the Hidden Faces: Portraits of Nameless Women In Scripture was born.
