Dr. Sara Miles's teenage patient is on the brink of death from an overwhelming, highly resistant infection with Staph luciferus, known to doctors as "the killer." Only an experimental antibiotic developed and administered by Sara's ex-husband, Dr. Jack Ingersoll, can save the girl's life.
Even in our darkest hours, God is with us and can guide us through.
Why the author wrote this book:
This book stems from my years in medical practice, which included service on the advisory boards of several pharmaceutical company, coupled with a curiosity that asked, "What if someone hid critical data just to get a drug accepted, and the answer didn't come out until almost too late?"
