Griselda Takes Flight

Now that her sister, Agnes Sparrow, is comfortably dieting at the Greenbrier Nursing home, Griselda has time to fly—literally. A handsome pilot named Cliff Cardwell makes an emergency landing and creates quite a ruckus, especially when Griselda takes him up on his offer of flying lessons.

On other fronts, Stella Hughes Kincaid receives word that her brother, Walter, a recent lottery winner, is in a coma. On her first hospital visit she meets Gilda Saucer, a woman claiming to be Walter’s fiancée. Stella intuitively smells a rat but is at a loss until Chief of Police, Mildred Blessing, does some crafty investigating.
