Why the author wrote this book:

I was working in a pregnancy centre when I started writing. I wanted to use fiction to write about the way things really can go and the issues around teen pregnancy, especially in the Christian realm. The types of supports that are out there, or may be needed, as well as the hypocritical attitudes that can be encountered. Through the main character, I wanted to show an example of how to forgive yourself and lean into prayer and trust God to bring about the desires of your heart.
