Why the author wrote this book:

As a little girl, I fell in love with cowboys and horses and everything to do with the wild, wild West. If there's a movie out there that combines the three, I'll fork over the cash to see it, no matter who the 'stars' are!

Writing stories set in the Old West allows me to live there, at least for a little while, as I take my characters on gritty adventures!
