Why the author wrote this book:

I wanted to write a unique romance, and listening to stories throughout my personal and professional life, I thought about using a therapeutic storyteller who must use her skills to win back the man she loves. Recalling the story of Scheherazade got me thinking, so I took the premise, modernized it with sprinklings of faith, and created this novel. Being a therapist, I couldn't resist adding a therapeutic storyteller. Also, the protagonist's mother who has a major role in this story, shifted from therapist to Matchmaker. Having been quite close to my mother, I threaded a strong mother-daughter bond within the novel.
