Cathleen Armstrong lives in the San Francisco Bay Area, but her roots remain deep in New Mexico where she grew up and where much of her family still lives. After raising three children with her husband, Ed, she, fulfilled a long-held dream when she returned to college and earned a degree in English. Then on to Dream Two--writing fiction. She needed to look no further than her home state of New Mexico for settings rich in beauty, and characters rich in strength and individuality. Her debut novel, Welcome to Last Chance, won the 2009 Genesis Award for Women's Fiction
