Laurie Myers

Author Bio:

Laurie Myers was born into a writing family - her father wrote engineering textbooks and magazine articles; her mother, Betsy Byars was a distinguished children’s author. Laurie and her sister, Betsy Duffey, grew up in Morgantown, WV. For over twenty years they wrote over children’s books. Four of the books were collaborations with her mother.

When their mother retired, Laurie and Betsy formed The Writing Sisters to express their faith in their writing, and more directly use their talents for the glory of God. Their desire is for their fiction to show the power of God working in the world through Scripture.

Laurie and her husband live in Augusta, GA and have three grown children.
