Author Bio:

I was born in Hartsville, South Carolina where I worked in my parent’s paint and hardware store, on the family vineyard, and as a stock clerk at Winn-Dixie, a local grocery store. After graduating from The Citadel, The Military Collage of South Carolina, I served as a commissioned officer in United States Navy; later started a computer consulting business serving Fortune 500 clients, the U.S. Government, and numerous small businesses.

I accepted Christ as my Lord and Savior following a church hayride in 1974. I surrendered to God’s call to Pastoral ministry in 1991, and have served as a Christian educator and pastor in Kentucky and South Carolina for more than 16 years. In fact, between the Navy, my business, and the ministry, my wife and I have moved 11 times in our 25+ years of marriage.

In addition to a Bachelor’s of Science from The Citadel, I hold a Masters of Divinity degree from The Southern Baptist Theology Seminary, a Doctorate in Theology, and I'm a candidate for a Doctor of Education from Walden University.

In addition to my first novel, "In His Very Steps" my published works include almost two-dozen journal and magazine articles, and I've contributed to three other books.

With the Lord's help, and more than 10 years of on and off-again writing, my first book reflects many of the highs and lows of my life. It's only by God's grace that today I enjoy the peace that comes with having four children, two hyper-active dogs, one very loved black cat, and the unwavering promise of life everlasting.
