Kimberly Burkhardt writes historical romance with a blend of faith, love, and adventure. She enjoys learning about the people who carved a life in the Old West and draws inspiration from them for her characters.

Her work has won the ACFW First Impressions contest (2021) and was a finalist in the ACFW Genesis contest (2022). She is a member of the American Christian Fiction Writers, Nebraska Writers Guild, and Faith, Hope, and Love Christian Writers.

Though a Kansan at heart, Kimberly moved to Nebraska where she lives with her family. Along with pursuing her dream of publication, Kimberly enjoys a good book and a great cup of coffee and can usually be found with one or both in her hands. She also enjoys spending time with family, being outdoors, and visiting historical sites around the Midwest.
