Cara Lynn James is an author of historical romance set in the Gilded Age. Love on a Dime, her first book in The Ladies of Summerhill series, was followed by Love on Assignment. The last book in the series, Love by the Book, will be released in July 2012. She lives in north Florida now, though she's lived all over the country. The wife of a retired Navy pilot and science teacher, she's also the mother of two grown children and the grandmother of one precocious pre-schooler.
