Retired after fifty years in business, Rena lives in Southern Indiana with her sweet hubs of many years. Together, they enjoy the laughter of their grandkids, the patter of rain on the roof, the sweet smell of alfalfa from their neighbor’s field, and the friendship of their home church and their community.

Rena creates stories with flawed characters, real problems, and relatable tension. She often draws from experience—that of herself and others—while keeping her characters unique.
