A L Evans is no wilting flower, but in the hot and humid South her hair can get a bit frizzy. Born in New Orleans, she calls Louisiana home with her two adult sons, daughter-in-law, grandson, future daughter-in-law, and one very unsociable cat. She loves Jesus and has a passion for His Word, works full time in the finance industry, loves to cook and try new recipes.

It wasn't until her late forties that God called her to write. She will be the first to admit that she is woefully unqualified to be a writer, but gave God her yes anyway. She moved forward with writing, fully believing that God who called her would also equip her. She balanced her full-time job while learning how to write a manuscript.
