Melanie Dobson

Author Bio:

Melanie loves exploring ghost towns, dusty back roads, old houses, and caves. She's enjoyed reading fiction her entire life and dreamed about writing it, but when she graduated from college, she pursued a career in public relations and journalism.

A decade ago, God reignited the passion in her heart to write a novel. After writing and rewriting (and rewriting!) three novels, Together for Good was published in 2006. She has published six contemporary and historical novels including a suspense story about a woman trapped in an abusive cult in Germany and a historical romance about a Quaker woman who risked everything to harbor slaves along the Underground Railroad.

Melanie has moved quite a bit in her life, making her home in places like Berlin (Germany), Los Angeles, Chicago, Mt. Vernon (Ohio), Va. Beach, Charlotte, and Colorado Springs. She now lives in the rainy but green Pacific Northwest with her husband, Jon, and their two young daughters.
