Author Bio:

Rita lives with her husband and two sons in a historical town in central Maryland, nestled along the Catoctin Mountains, amid Civil War battlefields and Revolutionary War outposts. She writes inspirational historical novels with elements of romance and suspense.

Readers will enjoy her novel, Surrender the Wind, an inspirational historical romance set in Virginia and England, released by Abingdon Press in August 2009 as one of their first books in the launch of their new line of fiction. Abingdon will release Rita's new series, 'Daughters of the Potomac', beginning February 1 in three volumes --- Before the Scarlet Dawn, Beside Two Rivers, and Beyond the Valley.
