Linda “Lin” Farmer Harris’s Treasure Among the Ruins, Book One in the Voices in the Desert Series, was released December 2016 by Forget Me Not Romances, Winged Publications. Book Two, Lost Memories will be released in December 2017. Her novella, The Lye Water Bride, is in the California Gold Rush Romance Collection (Barbour Publishing, August 1, 2016).

Lin wrote stories in junior high school with cowgirl heroines and horses as heroes. In high school, she submitted to Seventeen and Ingénue magazines and added cowboy heroes. Journalism was her major in college. She published in 101 Ways to Romance Your Marriage, Advanced Christian Writer, and Austin’s The Good News Journal. With Artie Stockton, wrote Stained Glass Windows in the Dark, a novel and audio novel, mystery/romance set in Mexico. The Writer’s Edge published Stained Glass Windows in the Dark on p. 6, of their March-May, 1996 catalog. She wrote Texas Elves for young children.

She is an alumnus of Christian Leaders, Authors & Speakers Seminar (CLASS). In 1997, was on the faculty of American Christian Writers Conference and designated Writer of the Year in 1996 and 1998. Her non-fiction includes lessons for grades 1-6 for Lay Renewal Weekends, Discipleship Weekends, and Prayer Weekends. In 2010, was one of five finalists in American Christian Fiction Writers' (ACFW) Genesis Contest-Young Adult category. Her professional growth includes Glorieta Christian Writers, Women Writing the West, Christian Booksellers Association. She was editor of Write to the Heart, American Christian Romance Writers, 2000-2003 and Lamplighter, Austin Christian Writers’ Guild, 1997-2003.
