Linda Shenton Matchett

Author Bio:

I was born in Baltimore, MD but spent my "growing up" years in New Jersey. During my junior year of high school, my family moved back to Maryland where I met my best friend and future husband, Wes. We lived in Northern Virginia for nearly twenty years where I worked for some of the high-tech "beltway bandits." Shortly after 9/11, we left the "rat race" to move to central New Hampshire and operate a bed and breakfast. That chapter of our life has recently closed, and I'm now the Front of House and Catering Manager for a local boarding school.

I grew up in a Christian home and came to know Jesus at a young age, thanks to Vacation Bible School. Unfortunately, I make mistakes along the way. But God is forgiving, and I rest in that fact every day.

The beauty of God's creation awes me and I love to spend as much time as I can outside - hiking, kayaking, snow-shoeing, tubing or just plain walking. I even enjoy mowing the lawn! I'm also a voracious reader - there's usually a stack or two of books ready and waiting on the night stand. Music is also a passion and I'm blessed to be part my church choir. I am a volunteer docent at the Wright World War II Museum. I am a member of ACFW and Sisters in Crime.

In addition to my own blog, I am part of a group blog, StitchesThruTime.
