Lisa Lickel is a Wisconsin writer with a bachelor of science degree in history and Russian Studies. A local historian, she is involved in several historical societies, reading, and writing groups. She freelances for local newspapers, edits historical pieces, writes and performs in radio theater, writes short stories and novels. She is the editor in chief of Creative Wisconsin magazine for Wisconsin Writers Association and is a regular contributor to the popular site, Author Culture. Lickel and her husband live in a hundred and fifty-year-old home filled with books. They love to travel and have two grown sons and daughters-in-law, a grandchild and a grankditty.
